Not exaggerating - I've visited a lot and this is my favourite. I loved every beer I tried, the decor is classic West Coast and lovely. Don't miss out on this brewery if you're in Vancouver.

There's always a wait to get in, I consider this a good thing! Inside you'll find the staff friendly, suggestive and knowledgeable. Try a taster of several beers and wash them down with a burger and fries!!! Great place to kill time. After sampling go next door and pick up a six pack for home! It's not fine dinning but... More

Don't de afraid of the lineup outside. The wait won't be that long. 10 beers on tap for tasting and food on site. Parking a bit complicated - better off by bus.

Went on Victoria Day weekend, and got in just before another rush. The charcuterie board was nice (the beer bacon jam is delicious!) and we got the "full slate" of samplers to try a bit of everything. Servers were very knowledgeable about the food and drink, as well as being friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back over the... More

As a craft beer aficionado, we were spending the day on Granville Island, so had to stop in for a couple of refreshments. While they were one of BC's first craft/micro-breweries, they are now owned by Molson/Coors, with most product made elsewhere. However, they still make some brews on site. The tasting room is small and rather spartan. On entry... More

Waited outside for opening on Sunday April 16th. Asked to sit at window table , waitress said no and put us in the back. 30 seconds later another couple was put there, when there was still and empty table. Was planning on spending 80 bucks there like last time. You have lost a lifetime customer due to this.

Located in Granville Island public market area- nice place to stop and get a beer tasting in. Small location with few seats, so not ideal for large groups or families with young children. Enjoyed the poutine!

great selection of local beers either by the pint, or 4 beer flights for sampling. Excellent table service so you don't even have to get up and go to the bar! We had a loaded putine with pulled pork too which was fantastic ... great way to spend a cold & rainy afternoon

Quite a variety. The flight of 10 beers is definitely the way to go. The winter beer is fantastic. The german lager was my second favorite.

Granville Island Brewing is a must do for any beer lover visiting Vancouver. You can try up to ten different local beers, most of them are brewed by the Granville Island Brewing Company, some of the beers are average like IPA's and Pale Ales others have twists like being infused with banana or toffee. The food is also fantastic at... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Island & Fairview
One of the favoured neighbourhoods for a day out, Granville Island's packed theatres and art studios, hobby shops and book stores, restaurants and bars, all offer a plethora of activities and entertainment options, leaving no one bored. The highlight of the area is the Fisherman's Wharf, where the seagulls overhead and the smell of the sea invigorate its many visitors, some of who are there to shop the fresh wares at the public market, and others of whom have arrived to take in the eclectic atmosphere.
