We pre reserved and pre purchased tickets to the early show on Friday night. We waited till the club opened at 7 and reserved our table. We then went upstairs for dinner. When we returned they had given away our table. The employee was extremely rude and non appologetic. He said he had seats for us but we would have... More

This is a gem of a place - $8 for a Tuesday night....best bargain in Vancouver. An array of stand up comedians with a star act at the end. Not sure why all the acts are using their notes and cell phones and they are mostly only on stage for 5-7 mins. Even the headliner used his phone to remind... More

With my comedy club experiences being limited to Glasgow, this was a new experience and the drinks set up a little different to what i'm used to. They need more waiting staff and I was horrified at the bill total at the end of the night. That said, the comedy itself was great and we saw 3acts in a set... More

It was our first time seeing a 'stand up comic', we'll be back! Very reasonable rates for a good time and entertainment! One thing I would like to see is people getting kicked out a LOT SOONER for talking too loud and interrupting the show... Otherwise, EXCELLENT!!

I won tickets to a night out at The Comedy Mix club. 5 of us attended this convenient location in downtown Vancouver. We were greeted by the friendliest staff. Nice atmosphere...little dark ... The waitress was fast and the drink and pub style snacks were great. Pricey for food but large portions ! 3 comedians entertained us with more laughs... More

Wednesday Night Comedy Showcase. Full house and lots of laughter. Good lineup of comics too. If you're a local or not, this is a great spot for some night entertainment in Vancouver. For a pre-show dinner, Pacifico Pizzeria at 970 Smithe St. is a good spot. Tip: before going downstairs to the comedy venue, use the bathroom in the restaurant.

I enjoyed myself tonight and needed a good laugh for the holidays and they provided, especially the headliner so was worth the wait!

The comedians themselves were a mixed bag as could be expected, but I would never go back to this venue. Feeling under the weather I got dragged out with friends, and just wanted a glass of water. They Refused. I went to the bar to request one as I stood beside a tap. They refused. They make you buy a... More

The queue was long but at the end, we entered. You need to have made reservation online first or by phone. Then you pay as you are about to enter. There was an anchorman (madly funny) and also a string of stand up comics coming in one after the other. They were all funny that night. Didn't keep count but... More

Been here many times, usually it's a fun night out. Some nights are better than others, though. We occasionally end up seeing comedians we've seen before telling the same jokes, or watching comedians that really shouldn't be up on the stage. Most nights are good. The staff is always outstanding.

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
