Bouncers were so unorganized and rude, waited over an hour even when we had a guestlist and the line was really short to get in, cashiers tried to overcharge me, venue is the size of a shoebox since you can't sit down unless you reserve a table, bartenders are slow, drinks are overpriced, so is coat check. The music was... More

I had table reservations at another lounge at Granville Island for an after wedding reception party. Even though I had confirmed the reservation with the previous lounge 2 hours before the reservation with their manager, the manager called 1 hour to cancel my reservation since they were at full capacity. My friends talked to staff at Bar None what happened... More

Pretty Good Nightclub. Probably one of the Top 3 nightclubs in Vancouver. Staff is super friendly and drinks are cheap on Friday.

Stay away from this place and head to Granville Street where most of the good nightclubs are. This is a two star place at best. One drink here will cost you three times as much as in other great nightclubs. You've been warned!

The music was blah (DJ Santiago was more concerned with himself than the vibe of the crowd) coupled with over priced watered down drinks. It was boring, costly and Vancity pretentious which is ironically comical.

I visited Bar None with a stagette party and was underwhelmed by the experience. Thank goodness cover was comp'd, because the place was expensive otherwise. (Cover is a rumoured $20/head + coat check in needed.) As the DD I was charged $3.75 for a soda, and was scoffed at by the bartender for ordering something that wasn't booze. The music... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
