Whatever the weather and your desired length of walk, the area has it. The views are great and so is the character!

A walk around the Stanley Park is a must. You have to plan a half day for that. Also a great idea is to rent a bike. Many stores where you can rent such a thing are there around the park.

On a nice day it is a beautifull and peacefull walk. Try it during the week as it not as busy than the week end. About 2 hours to do the trip.

So brilliant. Rent a bike around northern Denman (many have them with big comfy seats) and then ride and cruise. Be Aware tho. Vancouver locals love their Seawall too and can be grouchy if you don't follow the rules. The path is narrow but instructions are clearly posted and there's tons of places to pull over and take fun pictures.... More

We walk the sea wall to Stanley Park and down to Granville Island. You would never know that you were in a city once you get walking. It is quiet and serene. Pack a lunch and make a day of it!

A great place to walk, just sit and people watch or wait for the sunset or just relax on one of the benches.

No stay in Vancouver is complete without a visit to Stanley Park. It is an easy walk from most downtown hotels. There are many things to see and do. One of these is a leisurely walk along the seawall overlooking English Bay.

Staying in Stanley Park

Neighbourhood Profile
Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views, beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical getaway spot for friends and families, especially as it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its best equestrian outlets.
