This is one of the finest examples of art moderne architecture anywhere. It is a must to browse the lobby and historic plaques. Not to be missed if you are an historic architecture buff.

Really gorgeous building with an awesome pub in the lobby. Try to get to the 2nd floor or the penthouse for even better views.

The place is wonderful, I went to it on a tour, went back again later for another look and to take more photos. One of the best buildings I've seen and it's free entry. Google if before you go so you know what it's all...More

This building is a Vancouver treasure. Stroll in as you walk the city. Architecturally this is one of the earlier landmarks of the city. Now quite hidden by tall buildings but well worth seeking out.

It is truly a beautiful building, once the tallest in the British Empire, but now dwarfed by the green-glass skyscrapers around. Even though I was a numpty and missed being able to see the inside, the outside is still beautiful.

I was in the Mari ne Building on business and did notice the Art Deco on the façade, in the lobby, ceilings and the elevators. However, it was nothing that extraordinary to warrant a special visit to the building. The lobby was quite dark and...More

In a city where buildings of a hundred years of age or more are few and far between, this ninety+- year old building is a real gem. Enjoy the exterior and the lobby area, because, unfortunately, the remainder of the building functions as offices, and...More
