This expansive beach offers fantastic picnicking opportunities, swimming, beach volleyball, or simply a panoramic view of Vancouver and the mountains. Spanish Banks tends to be a quieter beach which makes it very family-friendly.

Out of all the beaches in Vancouver, this one has got to be one of my favorites. I no longer live nearby, but still make the drive at least once a week to get a spectacular view and some walking in (when it is low...More

I did a 13 km run along a crushed gravel trail at Spanish Banks out to Wreck Beach. It was very peaceful and the views of English Bay are impeccable. Go for a walk or run at Spanish Banks - you won't be disappointed.

The False Creek ferries have numerous stops and cover fun places to visit, from science world to Yaletown to Granville Market. It's an easy way to go by water to these locations and experience the local scenes from a water perspective.

Check online for low tide time. In the summer (when water is finally warm-ish), you can walk out onto the sand really far with great views of the city.

Spanish Banks is another one of Vancouver's great beaches and fantastic walking areas. Of course the views of the water and the North Shore mountains will help your overall experience.

Spanish Banks is a stretch of shore facing English bay and West Van on the north. Gorgeous views of downtown Vancouver. If you have a dog this is a wonderful place to go to.

West Point Grey is one of the city’s oldest
neighbourhoods, especially known for its easygoing and
admired beachfronts. Locals crowd the Spanish Banks

sprawling view of the English Bay awaits. The central
village is an oasis of sovereign shops, many of them
in local operation for years. The neighbourhood has a
