Stopped at Steamworks for lunch, staff were very nice, fantastic pint of oatmeal stout to wash down quinoa bugger, my wife had the chilli beef which was also made with the stout. Food was great, staff attentive and friendly and good beer. Only problem, mega limited veggie menu even the poutine has meat gravy. We will definitely be back.

This is a cool place in a nice location. It is dark and comfortable. The beer flight was pretty good. The servers are professional.

Fantastic place down by the cross Harbour ferry station, the food was great and there are so many awesome beers that we "had" to go back later in the week!

I've had my share of beer over the years, but this raspberry stout was very solid. We stopped in so the mom's could use the restroom, so I thought why not grab a pint. I got pint of the raspberry stout, and boy was I impressed. Great flavors, solid mouth feel, overall mind blown. My wife and the moms joined... More

Right on the water between downtown and Gastown, this place is great. The beer is excellent and the food is just as good.

I've been before and had good meals but things seem to have slipped. Our meals were not impressive at all. And the restaurant was very noisy - too noisy for us to have a decent conversation. Sorry - lots of other restaurants in town so no need to return.

My husband and I visited Steamworks Brewery from the okanagan on our visit to Vancouver! We enjoyed Oompa Loompas which is the seasonal ale topped with a Bellini slush ... wow, it was tasty!! Great service & awesome atmosphere!!!

The location I am reviewing is the Burnaby one located at 3845 William St Burnaby. The beers were simply your average fare nothing that really stood out. The service however was friendly. We ordered flights and though the range was pretty encompassing the flavors were missing that little something to make it over the top. Overall was an average experience.

Had high expectations for this place because it had so many good reviews, but the food was just OK and the service was poor. They forgot my soda and they brought out one of our appetizers with our entrees. The food itself was standard, nothing to rave about. Great views of the water and mountains though.

Thank Mariah H

Staying in Gastown

Neighbourhood Profile
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
