Really a spectacular drive that never gets old. Lots of places to pull over to view the strait, lots of little islands, and really funky looking homes. On the drive around Oak Bay we came across the "Tulip House" what an terrific contribution by a private citizen to the overall beauty of Victoria!!

My husband and I visted this area for the first time in August 2016. It was beautiful and the temperature was a real break for the hot Teas summer.

We were in Victoria on Mother's Day weekend and took a ride along the coast. It's a pretty drive and goes through some quaint towns. There is a bird sanctuary on the route and while I couldn't see birds I could definitely here them.

We just kept plugging along not knowing how far we would go, started at our hotel, made it over to beacon hill, them down to Dallas road and back up in time for happy hour!

As a Victoria resident, I do parts of this route as often as possible and ALWAYS when I have visitors in town. I am so incredibly blessed to live here amidst all this beautiful scenery. Stop along the way to smell the roses.....or the ocean.....and just enjoy the drive. It can be extremely busy in the summer months or on... More

I hired a car and did this in about 7 hours in total. Definitely worth while, I got to see some absolutely beautiful places which don't even come close to Victoria! My favourite was Botanical Beach in Port Renfrew. It's approx a 1.5km circuit walk through the lush forest and down to the water. A few people advised there was... More

This is a beautiful drive. Stop and enjoy the views. There are several places to park and walk around. It can be windy here so be prepared but it is so worth the drive.

We did the inner harbour tour, and loved it! Wonderful to see everything from the water! Highly recommend it!

After leaving Beacon Hill Park, we continued to walk along the path above the seafront. Absolutely gorgeous, fresh walk, in October, and to be so near the water. Lots of places to park if you choose to drive. We eventually continued walking to Fisherman's Wharf.

If you love the ocean then this is the drive for you. Lots of parking to get out and enjoy the scenery. There are trails for walking that parallel the ocean and it is very relaxing. Just across the road is Beacon Hill Park - a great park to stroll around.
