During the summer there are great outdoor eating spots - try The Local at the Warf Strret end of the square and the Irish pub up the hill on Government Street. Weekends have a market with amazing local artisans displaying their wares. Good parking off Warf Street including large spots for trucks.

Also a great place to visit when visiting Victoria. Artists selling their creations, musicians, and food. For the whole family

We walked around in some chilly drizzle and it was still nice. Lots of bars and shops with local foods and artists featured. I hear there is even more to see in the nicer weather.

My boyfriend and I went for a walk around town today and found Bastion Square it was busy due to the patios that the restaurants have. The shops were pretty neat and so were the art that laid out. Maybe it was because it is winter but the square itself was just pretty okay. I am excited to try it... More

We went for a walk to a restaurant close to Bastion Square and with the snow coming down it was very peaceful and quiet. Still this is a great place to go for a stroll no matter what time of the year!

This square is set in the heart of Victoria and offers a cavalcade of things to do and see in the summer months, A great place to stop and eat, drink or just watch people on your walking tour of downtown Victoria.
