Visited this place in June 2017. Lots to see as you walk around the Wharf. Best fish I have tasted in a long while here. Can recommend this to visitors .

Can’t compare to most other Fisherman’s Wharves I’ve been to. A bunch of attractively painted houseboats functioning as retail establishments and residences. A nice walk, a place to take the kids. An upscale Waterworld.

Cute area of the Harbour with a couple different foodie places, couple boutique shops, water tour company, etc. Great place to grab some fish & chips at Barbara's, ice cream for dessert. Covered eating areas and well as open picnic tables. The Harbour Ferry makes...More

Fishermans Wharf is lovely. There are interesting house boats to look at, loads of interesting boats to see and a good selection of places to eat and drink. Whale watching departs from there and it can be reached via water taxi.

We walked along the path from the city harbour to the wharf. It was interesting to see some of the house boat designs and then to sit and have fish and chips. You can take a ferry here if you don't fancy the walk.

A great place to go just for a wander and go take in the atmosphere. Loads of cafes too, busy and bustling but worth the trip.

This pleasant area offers fish and chips, Mexican food and a quaint artisan shop, We also booked our whale watching here at Eagle Wing. We enjoyed seeing the colourful row of houseboats and small marina. Great photo ops here

A fun place to visit. Combine it with a water taxi ride to get there from inner harbour and you have a great day adventure. Be sure to visit Barbs Fish and Chips. Visit the harbour seals and enjoy the view of the float homes.

It's about a 5 block walk. All flat but a good 15 minutes. Might be too far for your Mom although there are many benches to stop and rest in between or you can take a Kabuki cab ( bicycle with trailer)
