Great snowshoeing and cross country ski trails

Excellent trails including dog friendly ones. Depending on how far/long you want to be out for- there is something for everyone. Tubing are fun too. Highly recommend.

We were there in July and there is not much happening at the slide center. The trails for all open so would be okay, if you like biking or walking into the towns the shooting range was also open.

We went out here for an afternoon of tobogganing with our three boys aged 10, 12 and 14. Its about 30 minutes drive from Whistler village and well worth the trip. Its a world away from the hustle and bustle of Whistler Village, very beautiful and peaceful. The toboggans are free to borrow and the tobogannin area is well maintained.... More

This is a great example for why hosting an Olympics makes sense. This multi-use venue with xc skiing, biathlon, ski jumping, snow shoeing etc etc will help Canada produce another generation of Olympians. We took advantage of $5 Wednesday, to go for an evening snow Shoe and then had dinner in the lodge. There is a shuttle from whistler village... More

It was ok for an hour or so but there really isn't that much to do in the summer. It was good to see the ski jump close up and the shooting looked good fun. Other people had hired electric bikes. Otherwise, unless you are a winter Olympic mega fan then probably give it a miss. There are lots of... More

It cost us $5.00 (Summer) to go into the grounds and explore where the Nordic events took place in the 2010 Winter Olympics. Well worth it to see where it all happened even if it is the summer time. We chose not to do any shooting but that is something you can do while there. Part of the 2010 Olympic... More

We had fun going to the Olympic Park area by Whistler. There is a small car price to go. We paid $5 Canadian. One can see the ski jump area and read about the Olympics and Paraolympics. Then one can see the cross country ski area. Then one can learn how to use a biathlon rifle. There is a fee,... More

My husband and I did a day trip to Whistler. We detoured to the Olympics Nordic complex where the ski jumps and biathlon were held in 2010. There is a $5 per car fee and you receive coupons for $5 off the biathlon shooting experience. The normal price is $10 for 5 shoots. After a safety briefing, you lay on... More

This is not really a 5-star attraction but it is a beautiful park beyond the hustle and bustle of Whistler. The air is crisp and clean and the area is great for biking or hiking. I couldn't climb the ski jumps but I imagine it is spine tingling. We had the most fun trying our luck at the biathlon shooting... More
