I was happily surprised to learn that my Vancouver Public Library card could be used to borrow books here and I could return the Whistler books to a VPL branch and they would be returned! AMAZING SERVICE. And Whistler has WAY, WAY more books than my local VPL branch, which has very few adult books these days.

Whistler is a great destination for all kinds of activities all year round: skiing, biking, golfing, hiking, snow shoeing, back country launching point, canoeing. There are also plenty of things to do between activities and don't forget about the local library. Not just books, but also music, videos, newspapers and other media. Centrally located I like to go here just... More

I took my 15-month old to the library last week on a cold and rainy morning. We were very happy to find a wonderful children's section and very friendly librarians. And best of all, we were there in time for a Halloween themed story hour. This was one of the best story hours I have ever attended. All children were... More

Thankfully we were vacationing with owners of a timeshare, so were able to check out items. It was right across the street from our condo. Very clean, modern. Had a free movie night, however we didn't attend that.

I love this library. It is small, but I can always find something to read in the "staff picks". The staff are very friendly. The kid section has comfy chairs and it nestled away in the back. The kids books are well displayed. There is a great selection of DVDs in the front. Being from Vancouver, I am able to... More

Visited the Whistler Public Library - the Librarians were friendly and resourceful. Many activities were also conducted especially for children. Book collections and the infrastructure were sufficient to fulfill our needs. Very nice ambience, great work stations and space.

Beautiful new library! Great kids section with lots of books and toys to play with. Great big windows and views of the city while you sit and read a book. We will be back tomorrow as the kids had so much fun here!

By far the most beautiful library I have ever seen. A beautiful patio with loung chains over looking a beautiful garden. Huge windows. Just amazing.

We were looking for a warm, dry spot for a toddler to be entertained & found it, plus much more. Our 2 year old grandson loved the Tuesday morning story time while we adults found plenty of reading material and a snug place to read in front of a great stone fireplace and windows with a panoramic view of a... My family has always enjoyed frequenting the library while at home and going to the Whistler library was not a change in our routine. We were first drawn to the architecture and wanted to see the inside. Unfortunately, it is a library and the hrs are typically 10-5pm so we always missed opening hrs. We were pleasantly surprised to find... More
