The museum is not that large and the entry fee is in the form of a donation request- minimum of 5.00. The Museum itself is heavy on coverage of the decades long effort of Whistler to host the Winter Olympics. It also covers the pioneers...More

See this if you have ample time and some interest in local sports. It is a small museum that can be done in 45 mins or so.

I would recommend anyone who is interested in local history of whistler and surrounding area. The storyboards where beautifully put together. The museum brought me back to my childhood skiing in the whistler area.

This is a sort of a mini-museum. It's charming & gives a little history of the town of Whistler. It, like the other 2 museums/cultural centers in Whistler is a good, short indoor activity.

On a rainy day what better to do than visit a museum?! Whistler's museum is wonderful. It tells the story of how the area went from being a remote trek, accessible only to the hardy, to a world class destination. The people involved are very...More

I was sceptical about the museum due to it just looking like a cabin from the outside. I didn't know much about whistler however so decided to visit to gain some extra knowledge. I actually found it really interesting though and would definitely recommend for...More

what a way to get a feel for old Whistler, the people, the fauna and flora. This is a must do. Even got to see photos taken by my ski coach Bob Brett.
