My boyfriend and I went to the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, who had partnered with Rainbow Stage to produce the musical South Pacific. It was amazing! Rainbow Stage has very talented actors/actresses who did an outstanding job with this musical. The only issue I had was since they did such an amazing job with the acting, you were drawn into the... We LOVE our Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra (WSO). We have been subscribers for many years and the only time we are disappointed is when the season ends! We always get one of the Flex packages-- there is lots of choice and we can combine from the various series. The tickets are super easy to exchange when you need to. Go and... More

It was enjoyable and hilarious. I enjoyed the music but the sketch was very good too.I learned a lot about symphonies from a comedic perspective. I have only been to the symphony a couple times, but this one was more of a play then a symphony.

We saw the soundtracks live series and it was amazing! The conductor Robert Shore, I believe that's his name, was great and funny and informative. The music was fantastic playing some of my favourite movies! Definitely worth seeing!

This Xmas concert was great. Great songs choice and a vibrant personality which warmed us up more on this cold Manitoba evening.

We went to the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra en famille and were just so impressed with the quality of our seats (purchased online) and the wonderful sound of the hall. We attended the Russian Fireworks, with the WSO and the Winnipeg Youth Orchestra and the enthusiastic audience raised the rafters with shouts of Bravo!, thunderous applause, and a standing ovation. We... More

Last time I went was new music festival. Was great stuff. Got a giant cookie and my friend and I had a good time, some people were kinda loud and rude but that wasn't the WSOs fault. :^)

We drive up to Winnipeg at least a couple of times per year to attend one of the wonderful concerts at WSO. From Northern Minnesota, WSO is the closest large venue. Last year, we had season tickets and this was nice as we could reschedule at the last minute due to blizzards, etc. Shows are very affordable for students.

Now, i did not know much besides the shrek song. This was a mixed bag for the group. Now he has a great voice but as i stated, alot of the songs sounded the same - tempo, flow. I had to wait until the first encore to hear the shrek song. Also, i usually see the WSO play with the... More

We have been Pops Season Ticket holders for the past 5 years. Sometimes we like to stretch our music knowledge by exchanging tickets for Classics Series (no charge!) Even if we don't know the artist/group playing with the Symphony we go for the experience, if it's not for us we still appreciate the talent of our very own WSO. It... More
