This street used to be inhabited predominantly by Italian shops. It has evolved over the years, and while some of the older tenants remain, good-quality Asian restaurants now predominate. Even GiGi Gelati apparently has new ownership, though the offerings are still similar. Weekend evenings, this...More

Primarily Italian restaurants, although there are some Chinese, Thai and other restaurants. Very crowded in the summer it is a popular place for ice cream or eating in the many outdoor areas. I find it odd that it is so popular as the outdoor seating...More

Corydon is just off the downtown path and offers plenty of local shopping and restaurants. The walk down the strip is an enjoyable site seeing and there are plenty of ice cream stores to pop in and grab a treat at. Great for families and...More

This neighbourhood has been changing in last few years and now it has become a very trendy area. There is very good diffferent type of restaurants and shops. It is also a very nice and safe area to walk around.

It was nice to just walk a few blocks in all directions while down town Winnipeg. The number of "street people" sitting on the side walks and panhandling was a little concerning as the evening hours approached. I was glad to see the street patrol...More

It's been more than once that we ventured across the city to visit an establishment in the Corydon District. There are so many restaurants which appeal to us from reading reviews and advertisements where we would like to stop for a snack or meal. However,...More

This "walking area" of Winnipeg can be visited anytime--- but, on a warm evening the patio dining and drinking/refreshments places are truly delightful!! There are cafes, bars and eateries featuring the delectable cuisines of many countries! the "BUZZ" and energy is infectious!!

Lots of nice shops and restaurants plus international-themed sculptures to enjoy along the way. From what I was told, this is the Italian sector, but there was quite a variety of other ethnicities represented in the shops and eateries along the boulevard. Great find for...More
