An interesting collection of shops and restaurants. A fun place to "people watch". As we are from the US it was very interesting to see the locals interact.

Always good to shop, eat and visit at the forks. Enjoy the walks and love Tall Grass Prairie cinnamon buns. The only downfall I have is I don't like to pay for parking when I am going to a place to spend money.

Lots to do - outdoor bandstand in the summer - boating down the Red River - restaurants and kiosks - converted train station just like Boston! Even has Children's Museum!

What to say about the Forks? It is the meeting place for Winnipeg. It has food, entertainment, ice skating in the winter, boating on the Red and Assiniboia Rivers in the summer. The Canadian Museum for Human Rights is here (boring monstrosity that it is,...More

Have not been there in the last 5 years or so, but had friends in from Ottawa and took them yesterday. They (and I) were very impressed. Nice to walk around the area and interesting shops indoors. Definitely recommend.

I will be visiting the forks on Father's Day by boat and would like to know if there are specific docks for boat owners and are they marked or is there any specific signage. I don't want to park in a water taxi spot or be parked illegally.

Hi, My husband and I are going to be in Winnipeg for Valentine's day weekend and are looking for some things to do. One of them is visiting the Canadian Mint. I've also read about The Forks. Do you know if there are skate rentals available. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help. Denise
