What a great setting and trail experience for enjoying the four legged family members. The trails through the forest are very well maintained and the large open field allows socializing with other pet lovers.

One of the few places in and around Winnipeg where bedrock is visible at ground level. The site of the first limestone quarries in the area, the park includes a defunct a large pond in one of the defunct quarries. Lots of wandering, well-groomed trails winding through prairie aspen forest, as well as open fields. For dog lovers, the off-leash... More

We often take a lunch and bring the dogs to one of the many picnic/barbecue sites, great to eat and then let the dogs run. Not recommended after dark as it is a hangout for seedy types but fine during the day and lots of dog friends to play with. Watch out for the leash-required areas.

This is a good concept area that has baseball diamonds as well as soccer pitches. Unfortunately, even though you pay your league fees, you still have to pay for parking when you enter this complex. Parking is nominal, but it is the principal. My youth son played for a men's team and does not have his license to drive so... More

If you love dogs this is your place. Great opportunity for the dogs (and you) to meet other dogs & people who love them. Just follow the rules, use common sense & everyone has a good time

I enjoy taking the dogs here; very large park with lots of open spaces and also numerous walking trails in the bushes. There is a small structure at the front with washrooms if needed. Bring your bug spray in the summer, you will need it!

We brought our dogs here because there was a large leashed area. Our dogs are not always the best with others so we thought this was a good solution. Unfortunately, almost all the dogs in the leashed area were not on leashes. This resulted in my husband being pulled to the ground by our dog because someone let their little... More
