We camped there. The park is in need of upgrades, handy for the city though.

If you're looking for a walking trial or nature park then you're better off going the extra distance to the Irving Nature park. I hear too many weird stories about things going on at Rockwood park especially after dark. Located in a grungy part of...More

Get a map of the Park and discover its offerings. I love here in the spring when I see rare lady slippers in yellow, pink and white; please do not pick them, though. This is a great place for walking.

I have been going to this park for years, sometimes I take the dogs - there is an off-leash dog park, or lots of trainls to walk them on leash. You can bike, walk, swim, ski, skate - all kinds of options depending onthe time...More

Good trails for walking, quite scenic, serene. More of a summer and spring place, and even autumn, avoid during winter.

The best I can say about this park is the price is right. It was $140 for a week ,which was less than paying for 5 nights. The people who run it are very nice & helpful. The laundry room was clean, didn't use the...More

Despite the mediocre review from 2008, we decided to stay at this campground. If you want to park in a tenting site without services, you can get a treed site. However, we wanted services so went with the "gravel parking lot". If you're looking for...More

Rockwood Park has many interesting ways to recreate; hiking, walking, swimming, kayaking, horseback riding, golfing and more to name a few. Recently a new walkway has been added around Lilly Lake with a very nice view of the ppavilion, the lake and a colorful sunrise...More

It was very disappointing to find a back to back, gravelled lot campground as part of an otherwise beautiful park. With such affordable space, we expected a more spacious site with lots of trees. The real problem however, is that the campground is occupied with...More

It's an inland park with several walking and biking trails and lakes. The more popular trails are those by the interpretation center/lily lake. There's a restaurant there also and a small beach. If you go to rockwood park... More
