We attended a beautiful wedding at the Cathedral. Old stone church that was warm and inviting with spectacular acoustics and architecture.

This was located steps away from Gower House and was something I would expect to see in London UK and not in St. John's. There was a great tour provided free of charge,

Couldn't get inside because it was locked and there was nobody around that could let me in. Too bad -- I would have loved to see the interior and the stained glass. Anyway, the exterior is absolutely beautiful!

The church has an air of mystery about it. The front lawn is the gravesite of thousands of unmarked graves....it's dark and inspiring all at the same time. Wonderful history.

Nice Neo-gothic cathedral. I couldn't make the guided visit as it was Sunday. But the side gate was slightly open and I went into. It was really surprising, the service was ongoing with a chorus there. I'm not religious but it was a nice experience.

This is quite a surprise in the middle of St. John's. It is a must as part of any walking tour whether, formal or informal.

Something you would expect in London UK than in St. John's. The place is majestic. It was feet away from the Guest Hose I was staying in and a caretaker gave me a tour

Under some renovation and claims to be open but couldn't find a door that was open ... mid day on a Tuesday. Main front doors very unwelcoming. Would have loved a visit. Too bad. If it was open at some door why not post a...More

Beautiful Cathedral in the heart of St. John's, wonderful guides throughout the church. Very beautiful interior, even a great place just to sit and be in peace.
