Pick a sunny calm day and enjoy the site and magnificent views. Otherwise bring a heavy jacket and hold on tightly to your children. It get very windy. Definitely worth the visit.

Signal Hill is a spot of major historical significance in St. John's as it is where the first Trans-Atlantic radio signal was received. It also offers some of the best views in the entire city.

One of the most beautiful and easily accessed hiking trails. I often hike it before work or during lunch break. Its right in the city so I dont have to go far to get some exercise and fresh air

It can be windy and foggy depending on the day but you can’t come to St. John’s without visiting this historic monument. It’s beautiful up there!

Signal Hill is a wonderful, accessible location in St. Johns from which the view, on a clear day, is marvelous. It is a beautiful building and is a nice place to get perspective from above on the whole city.

As far as I'm concerned, Signal Hill is a must for the view. The Rooms was good, but exhausting to see it all and if you're not into museums, don't go if you only have 4 days. We took an O'Brien's Bay Bulls boat tour and... More
