I talked to Jessica and Tracy before running to a meeting as I had some time to burn, and Jessica and Tracy were extremely friendly and helpful in answering questions and providing options for me for my stay in Yellowknife. Very knowledgeable of the area and very candid, which was appreciated. It was a pleasure meeting them!

Very helpful staff and good range of suggestions and products. Close to the centre and easy to find. Nice to browse the local products and explore options for things to do.

We were in Yellowknife overnight with nothing much to do. Brought my twins into the visitor centre to pick up a free parking pass and they loved the visit and wanted to stay longer so we did!

The first thing you should do when you arrive in YK is a visit to the Visitor Centre. I already took contact with Jessica by phone from at home in Belgium and the phone call existed me already very much to travel to YK. Jessica was extremely helpful and gave very acurate information. Welcoming, friendly and had print out tips of how to photograph the Northern lights -(We're talking camera settings here!!!). Unfortunately under-rated. They gave us a souvenir pin!! The ground floor is a quaint gift shop and the upper floors have a few displays.

Staff (Jessica, Wylie, Jordan) all very helpful. One person (I think Wylie) even took me to the window to show me the flags leading to the Prince of Wales Museum which otherwise I would not have known how to get to as Yellowknife is set up for cars, not walking, so they assume people are exiting from the highway to... We met Tyler at the Information Center and he has been extremely helpful offering his tips on traveling in Yellowknife. You can try to plan your visit but Tyler gives you a local flavour that you cannot find from the internet.

I visited the visitor centre and looked at the brochures for tours etc etc. I had a couple of questions and ended up talking to Jessica for a good ten minutes, she was very helpful and gave many good suggestions on what and how to do things around Yellowknife! Thanks Jessica.

Thank Mark T
