This market takes place twice a week (Wednesday & Saturday) in downtown Annapolis. There are a variety of farmers and artisans, and musicians and there is food and coffee available. This is a wonderful place to get a true sense of the 'flavour" of the community.

Entertainment. Good food. Crafts. Fresh vegetables and fruit. This market in Annapolis has it all. This is a great way to spend a Saturday morning.

If you are in the area of Annapolis Royal on a Wednesday or Saturday, I can highly recommend visiting the Farmer's Market. It was much larger than I expected and had a much greater variety of merchants than most farmer's markets I have visited.

Like the rest of downtown Annapolis Royal, the outdoor market was charming, interesting, and a bit pricey. Lots of vendors -- some fresh produce but mostly handcrafts, gifts, clothing, and prepared foods. As we experienced across Nova Scotia, too few vendors sold anything for a vegetarian to eat. A fun place to browse for a couple of hours.

We were lucky to be in Annapolis Royal on a Wednesday and catch the farmers market. It's not huge (neither is Annapolis Royal) but had a nice mix of local produce, crafts, food and even distilled spirits. We picked up some gifts, blueberries, pear liquor and a nose gay of sweet pea flowers. I hadn't seen any sweet peas since... More

Recently bought strawberries, blueberries, cherry tomatoes and snap peas. All very good and fresh. But there are lots of other things available--wine, spirits, jams, baked goods, art, etc. Nice setting

We love farmers market and make it a point to visit whenever we are travelling. We went to the Saturday's market. There were quite a few stores selling handicrafts and food and clothes. We bought bakery foods, wine, second hand book and clothes from a vintage clothes store. It was fun wondering around with music and nice aroma etc. One... More

Good selection of local produce and locally made products. Extremely friendly vendors and some unusual items for sale. The stall that stood out for me was one where bottles are 'melted' and then formed into spoon holders etc but still retain the bottle shape. Definitely worth a visit if the market is on.

At breakfast our B&B host suggested the Farmer's Market as it was Wednesday and in July and August they hold it on both Wednesday's and Saturday's. Reading the prior reviews and most mentioning Saturday market, it must be completely different from what we encountered on a Wednesday. Very few vendors. Some fresh produce and other craft items for sale that... More

Was a wonderful market, from fresh vegetables to a fancy garlic bowl, many treasures to bring a piece of home with you
