Explore the Cradle of Acadie with a 10th generation Acadian on an Acadian Heritage Tour at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays. Discover the Acadian and Mi'kmaq cultures by lantern light through song, dance, stories and food samples with an Candlelight Acadian/Mi'kmaq Tour on Monday evenings at 9:30 p.m. All three tours depart from the Annapolis Royal Lighthouse. Custom Group Tours also available.

What a great way to see the marsh land area of Annapolis Royal while seeing numerous waterfowl, song birds, turtles, frogs and even a couple of HARMLESS :) snakes. Our 2 hour guided walk came with a loan of some very good binoculars and an excellent guide. The terrain is very gradual so anyone who can walk 2+ km's can... More

This two hour guided walking interpretative tour is a great way to learn about the importance of marshes all the while catching glimpses of turtles, ducks galore, other bird life, native plants and the odd muskrat. This is a fun way to learn about the history of this crucially - important area of Canada. Meet at the lighthouse on the Main Street at 2 pm and a costumed lady (from Texas ! and married to the tour guy who does the grave yard tour). The history is fascinating and the tour guide makes the tour fun.... More
