We hadn't been here in several years but decided to make a return visit. Such a beautiful spot. We were very impressed to see that they now incorporate Mi'kmaw culture in the site and the artisan there today was a true craftsman. The buildings themselves...More

Really enjoyed our visit here - very informative staff, with demonstrative exhibits and items from the times. Everything was built with a careful detail and purpose and it was a very interactive visit - a lot of interesting history and beautiful grounds.

Well maintained historic site staffed by knowledgeable tour guides. Many buildings, tools and accessories of French settler life and living conditions. Commanding view of harbor entrance. Plenty of free parking. Beautiful well kept grounds. Well worth a couple hours to explore.

We learned a lot from this tour. The buildings are incredibly interesting and filled with real hides and furs. Loved the costumed and in character guides which were incredibly knowledgeable.
