The Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design is a wonderful place to go to see and purchase local crafts by local artists. They also have a small museum area to see. There is a good selection of unique jewelry that is reasonably priced. Also...More

We arrived in Sydney and because it was a bit rainy an cool we walk around and into the craft and design centre. The building consists of a gallery, gift shop and workshops. They display some of the best crafts people in Cape Breton.

Lovely, well lit displays of the many and diverse talents of Cape Breton artist. Found some gifts for home and met lovely staff. Wishing that a quilt could come home....so beautiful.

Excellent collection of works of Cape Breton artists & artisans. Well presented, excellent lighting, personal & helpful staff .... even offering suggestion for a great coffee & bakery location just around the corner. Indeed a highlight of our Sydney trek.
