This is a must stop for anyone with the love of nature or environment. The knowledge possessed by the scientists in the building was phenomenal.

This is a government research station and is very professionally run. You need to phone the centre to arrange a visit. A guide escorts you around the centre and are really geared up for children to learn about conservation of our environment. At the end...More

Read about this in a NS travel mag...Canada's largest oceanography research centre. Very informative, small intimate tour, Anicka was a fabulous tour guide. Teenage daughters had a blast picking up all the lobsters, crabs, etc. Call ahead to reserve a FREE tour.
