You need to see Sandy Cove dock and harbour and also the amazing beach on the north side of the highway (a bit of a drive but keep going, it's worth it)

We visited Sandy Cove in the morning and found it to be peaceful and quietly beautiful. The beachcombing was good—yes, a good spot for sea glass—but I mostly enjoyed the simple, uncrowded nature of this beach.

Have been looking all over PEI, NB and NS for sea glass which I use to find on the beaches as a child with no luck, until I went to Sandy Cove Beach. I got my fil.l

Had a picnic lunch and lovely beach walk. We found quite a bit of sea glass. Just lovely but the water was really cold for Floridians.

Relax on a long quiet beach, possibly spotting porpoises or dolphins, scouring for sea glass and breathing fresh unpolluted (imagine that) air..what a treat

The beach was no where near as good as maviette beach, one of my sisters found an old boot and some little girl found a dead fish, not coming back

I stopped here hoping to find a place in the area to swim. Well I found the perfect spot. Nice beach, lots of sand, warm water and nice visitors to chat with along the beach
