Beautiful victorian garden. Extremely peaceful and tranquil. There was live music being played when I visited, which added to the ambiance. A must see gem for anyone visiting Halifax.

Old style Victorian gardens with large and lovely gazebo in the center. Assorted well tended and gorgeous flowers and trees take up a square block and offer the visitor a quiet and aesthetic retreat from city action.

Spend a few minutes or hours in this easily accessible, free public garden. Beautiful plantings, peaceful setting, varied views, and ducks. Located near the Citadel.

We enjoyed a beautiful sunny day in July 2017. We had a great time walking in the park, taking family photos with great backdrops.

On Sunday July 16, we were amazed at the beautiful music played at the Public Gardens, as we wondered and enjoyed looking at the lovely well-kept gardens. We will be back! Charles and Diane Honeymooners from North Bay, ON

These gardens are so beautiful. They are so peaceful and lovely to walk around. There are many places to also sit down and take in the breathtaking beauty. We even saw a humongous duck! Definitely worth stopping at for a walk!

The Halifax Public Gardens are amazing. So many beautiful flowers, plants, trees, statues, etc throughout the park. They also have live music many times. It's a serene place I'd highly recommend.

The Halifax Public Gardens are simply gorgeous. They are an island of color in an urban neighorhood. Walking, sitting, listening to music at the park's center or having an ice cream all make for pufe relaxation.

Take the time to relax here and enjoy the beautiful gardens. Make sure to stay off the grass though.

The garden is at the top of the hill, but it's worthwhile to walk up there. It is very beautiful that made me feel peace and calm. There are many birds, ducks and fish living there that we all share this lovely garden harmoniously.
