Well worth doing

I am not a bus tour person but this trip was a great way to see the city. Our tour guide, Dave was amazing. Knowledgeable and funny. I learned a great deal about the city.

First of all, we had a really hard time finding the starting point for this tour. The web site just missed this basic information. Also be informed that you cannot make a reservation by phone call on a sunday. The highlight is definitely the tour of Fairview Lawn cemetary where the guide shares the story of tens of Titanic victims... More

Terrific guide. Paul is obviously in love with his city. He not only gave us factual information but waxed poetically about places that meant something special to him. Well worth the time and money.

Tours by locals Jay White gave us an excellent tour of the Fundy Tides and the Annapolis Valley as well as some of the wineries. Jay was there at the designated time and gave us a wealth of information. We so enjoyed every aspect.

First, Took tour to Peggy's cove, a very beautiful place. About an hour from Halifax by tour bus. Stayed about an hour, which was not long enough for all the great views (even in rainy and windy conditions). There are a number of small shops at the cove that sell jewelry, and other items. Small rest center/restuerant and gift shop.... More

At £54.75 each this was not a cheap trip but so informative. The coash was comfy and the guide knew his stuff. We drove for quite a while to get to Peggy's Cove - beware - in leaf peeper season (I don't know about other seasons) this place is rammed with tourists and coaches too many to count - it... More

Guide was very genned up on the local knowledge and quite witty. Nice to see the city without all the walking.

The best 3 hours you will spend in Halifax. The tour guide was a ton of fun, the bus was comfortable and the city is amazing. Definitely recommend the 3 hour tour as it includes the graveyard for the people from the Titanic. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the stories will rip your heart out.
