If you are walking up to the Citadel from downtown, you have to walk past the clock. It was constructed in 1803 and has been keeping local people on time since then. On a pretty day, it makes a nice photo.

Directly below the Citadel, sits this beautiful old clock tower, nice picture postcard shot, and beautiful views of the harbor below. Nice comfortable walk from the cruise port if you are fit.

We only drove past the clock although it was only a couple of blocks from our hotel. But it's historic beauty was great.

The Old Town Clock is an iconic symbol of Halifax. Located on the hill just in front of the Citadel it is a local landmark. Basically it is just worth a photo stop.

The Old Town Clock is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Halifax. It is located near Citadel Hill. It began keeping Town for the garrison in 1803.

Don’t go out of your way, but interesting. Not worth more than a 10 minute deviation. If you are nearby, take a gander.

Great for taking pictures and having a great touristy back drop. Right at the Citadel Hill and a great landmark for knowing your way around.

This is a lovely historical tower just outside of the Citadel. I just saw the outside cause it was open to the public.
