We enjoyed this market particularly the art tables. We bought a small water painting of the Halifax landscape, -unusual and collectable.

A must see for any trip to Halifax. Come on Saturday morning and stay for lunch! There are lots of stalls to explore. There's even a guy who sells the best Doubles I have ever eaten (And I lived in Bed Stuy!)

We visited on a Saturday, and it was crowded, but that adds to the vibe. A very good display of local/regional produce and wines. We were very impressed with the diversity and quality of the offerings. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely day to stroll the harbourside market and all it has to offer. The shops are generally quite nice and not touristy souvenirs.

Not sure if the market place is geared at cruise ship passengers, but we went to opposite end of boardwalk and had better finds that were higher quality and lower prices.

There were many choices of Nova Scotia produce and home crafts. Also places to buy meals. It is located about 10 minutes down from the main tourist area along the waterfront.

We went on a Saturday and the place was very busy. There is something for everyone - food, crafts, soaps and essential oils, art work, etc. We got take-out food from Mary's African Cuisine and it was oh so good - we got the lamb...More
