In 1820, Alexander Keith established his brewery in the heart of Halifax. Now, 196 years later, we’re proud to welcome you back into our home on Lower Water Street, the Alexander Keith’s Nova Scotia Brewery. We invite you to come and visit us at our beautifully restored and renovated brewery, and to try our exciting new beers crafted by our brewmaster, Stefan Gagliardi. Cheers to all things raised in Nova Scotia.

Ok, first of all why do people bring little kids on brewery tours?? I’m confused by this. Is it to introduce them to beer at an early age? Or fulfill their own need and to hell with everyone else-Kids crying, taking over, bored to death?...More

One of the better brewery tours we’ve been on, taken around by several different characters with beer along the way. Ends up in the old barrel store where we had more beer and singing/music, really good and worth it, all staff lovely there.

We did the whole Alexander Keith's Tour and Tastings - well worth the money. So much history here and such great beers. Would recommend this tour any time you're in Halifax.

We flew in yesterday and we were really looking forward going to this iconic brewery for lunch. We arrived after the lunch time rush when 90% of the seats were unoccupied. Although the food was very tasty compliments to the chef, the service was really...More

Just as the title says. When we arrived there were 2 other tables occupied. At 1pm you’d think our server would be attentive. Not the case. 10 minutes to get a beverage and our order taken. Another 25 minutes to get our meal. My partner...More

I believe it was $26/person. No need to book ahead. They have tours that run daily.
