I have been fortunate to see both concerts and movies at the Empire .... always a great time. Mark Rashotte and his crew are amazing hosts.... at the last concert that I was at there was a power outage and they worked tirelessly to make sure a sold out audience and performer Alan Doyle ...were able to continue. A great... More

We had a great time at the concert even though a couple of the performers were weak. Nonetheless, the venue itself is top notch. Every seat has great sight lines, no obstructions and the acoustics even to this untrained ear, are incredible. Descent concession stand and traffic inside moves well. The owner works hard at bringing respectable events and we... More

I have been too empire theatre on numerous occasions always for concerts. I love the place. Seats are comfortable. Ticket prices are reasonable. Every seat is a good one. Sound is amazing maybe some times even too loud(i like it loud) staff were good. Refreshment prices were status quo. The only issue i have is there are some tours and... More

The Empire is an old movie theatre that is now a theatre for live music, theatre and movies. The Empire adds a much needed touch of class to Bellevilles rundown downtown core area. The sound quality is incresibke with several musicians commenting on the quality of the sound in the theatre during peformance. Stafd are helpful and friendly. The only... More

A beautiful venue for films, concerts & events. Belleville is very fortunate to have an entrepreneur who had the foresight to invest in our downtown and design a nice forum for some unforgettable cultural experiences. Along with our gorgeous waterfront, the Empire Theatre is a big part of what makes Belleville a great city. Kudos to Mark Rashotte & his... More

We have attended many musical concerts at this venue and really enjoyed every one of them. The indoor theatre is relatively small resulting in a cosy, relaxed experience. The outdoor shows in the summer accommodate a larger number of people and are well planned and managed resulting in hugely enjoyable shows. The entertainers range from local relatively unknowns to the... More

This historic building features many top name performers. Recently saw Shaun Majumder, hilarious show. Ron White is set to perform next month. Free parking onsite. Seating is very comfortable and there is no obstructed view.
