Disapointed
Jul 2021
A little disappointed right from the start. They have increased their price just to get in from $2 a person to $5 a person. A money grab. To me they make enough off the hundreds of vendors who in turn make money off the entrants.
It hasn't changed mush once you get in.
We left without buying anything.

Money garb at Aberfoyle
Jun 2021
My poor rating is with regard to the ridiculous price hike on admission.
From $2 to $5 a person is both greedy, unreasonable and will deter my attending this market greatly.
Nothing new is being offered so I do not understand this move, surely the public are what drives this place and if I were a vendor I'd be considering alternatives.

WORTH THE DRIVE!!!

Aberfoyle Antique Market is our favourite one day outing in southern Ontario.
Fantastic bargains in every category of antiques.
For all your reading pleasure be sure to search out Dave’s Books.....if you’re looking for books to take to the cottage Dave has hundreds of pocket books....if you’re trying to encourage a child to read good books Dave’s your go to....

Aberfoyle Antique Market is the easiest place to spend a day pickup some great buys and not come home broke...
Come early and grab breakfast or stay awhile and grab lunch...either way you won’t be disappointed....By the way the grounds are PET friendly...
See you there...Let’s support this fantastic local venue.

Girls day antique hunting
Sep 2020 • Friends
Spent a beautiful Sunday antique hunting with girlfriends. Vendors were very pleasant and helpful. Lots of treasures for every sort of interest and wallet size. Was expecting high prices but surprisingly was not the case. Snacks & beverages on site and plenty of parking. Will definitely go back but with my truck next time!

Steep admission price
Sep 2020 • Solo
Market was nice although costs 8.00 per person to enter which I found pretty steep. Most markets are free or 1.00 per car. It was nothing more special than the others so I am not sure why they charge so much to get in

Get Good Bargains With Vendors
Jun 2020
This is my 6th visit to this market since 2018 when I first visited it. After several visits I now learn how to navigate the different stores and where to find the real bargains.

I found out that the cheapest vendors(provided you know how to haggle prices) are those who are outside the stalls and who bring their goods on their trucks and cars. These vendors dont have permanent stalls in the market so they can bring the prices down.

I was able to get a vintage table for $8 which I was able to bargain down to this price. It takes several visits to get to know the going rates of items sold here.

Remember to try to get a bargain by asking for the best price the seller is willing to give you

Great market on a hot day
Oct 2019
I would advise picking a nice dry warm day to visit.
The market itself is quite big and the amount of sellers is excellent.

Some seller are good for a deal, others are just way over the top expensive and others there was just no negotiating. Which kind of defeats the purpose of going to a market like this.

All in all, a really good spot.

Lots to look at but a bit over rated. Not enough classic toys etc. I did find a coke sign so that was good. But too much of certain things not enough of others

An afternoon visiting the Past!
Sep 2019 • Friends
The Aberfoyle Antique Market is set in a lovely town of Aberfoyle close to the 401 hwy. The market is usually open on Sundays only but twice a year once in June and again in September it is alive with antique buffs looking for that perfect piece or browsing or finding something they didnt know they wanted. It's a wonderful place to spend a day or an afternoon or a few hours. There is plenty of parking and a restaurant for snacks or a burger and cool drinks.
