How do you get into the greenhouse from the parking? Is it a long walk? I would like to take an elderly person. I was there once before with a friend, but we couldn't find the entrance to the show and left.

Gage Park is a public park and I know of no reason why you can't BBQ. You just need to bring your own BBQ and supplies. There are picnic tables in some areas and free parking off Lawrence Road (by the escarpment).
