Went 10 friends to see a hockey game vs Flint and one of my friends grandson plays on that team. Lots of action and seating was good. The only complaint was the price of a beverage ie. wine $12.50 plus tip. Easy to get in and out of.

First time at this venue and I was so pleased!! Steps from our hotel the process of getting in was well organized and quick! Seating was great and because Carrie Underwood had a Centre stage set up I think everyone was happy with their spot in the crowd. Would definitely come back to see another artist here!!

We were there for Carrie Underwood. The stadium is smaller and made it so all the fans were closer (even Carrie mentioned how nice it was to be playing in a place where she could see everyone.) Maybe the best bang for the buck of any venue in southern Ontario.

We were in Hamilton for Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire Heart & Soul Tour 3.0 at the First Ontario Centre last Saturday night. I haven't been to the First Ontario Centre since it was called Copps Coliseum many years ago and back then I went to a Hamilton Bulldogs hockey game. The seats were pretty comfortable as arena seats... More

We recently attended the Earth Wind & Fire/Chicago concert at First Ontario and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The seats were comfortable, the acoustics decent and the crowd loud. It's clearly an older arena as the public spaces are a little crammed and the washrooms on the small side. But I've never been in an arena this size that was so... More

I've been to 90% of the OHL rinks and this one is my favorite. The recent renovations have made the arena feel like it's new. The seats are cushioned and comfortable, and having sat in different parts of the lower bowl, the view has been great wherever I sat. The downsides is the that there's no parking, so hunting for... Date Night October 7th - Detroit Red Wings vs Toronto Maple Leafs, first time for a Hamilton experience and first time NHL for my wife. Great seats in section 113. Purchased the tickets at the Centre in advance for $69.25 each rather than through Ticketmaster that charges a larger fee.Score 2-1 Wings!

Very nice venue and an even greater concert. Something done, not seen at other concerts was even though we had tickets, all patrons had to line up outside prior to the concert. We were told this was due to extra security measures in place for the concert. Did not use any facilities, i.e.: washrooms or food or beverage services, so... More

The Paul McCartney concert itself was excellent, and despite being in the nosebleed section, our seats were fine. But this is about the arena, not the concert. It was my first time attending an event at this venue and I couldn't believe the incredibly long line-up to get in. It stretched for blocks. I've been to a lot of concerts... More
