The cathedral is very light inside, even though all the windows are stained glass. It is also very spacious, accommodating 10 rows of pews. I was drawn particularly to the shrine given by Catherine Hansen in memory of her husband. It is most unusual.

A place of solace surrounded by peaceful neighbourhood. Huge and pretty. The statue of Mother Mary is especially beautiful.

This cathedral is in the heart of working class Kingston and fitting for the people. Still hosting services and great views. Free and all are welcome

The Cathedral of Saint Mary is a beautiful gothic building, typically English. However, inside it's less impressive than outiside.

St. Mary's Cathedral is absolutely beautiful. Overwhelmed by the statues and incredible wall sculptures. Caretakers offer guided tours of the grounds which also include a very impressive chapel devoted to St. Joseph.Outside architecture is awe inspiring.

We were just passing by, not intention to visit the cathedral, but it was a great surprise the magnificent interior. Worth a visit by itself.
