Went to Point Pelee to check out the hiking trails as we are planning a trip back in the spring to look for birds. The visitor center was very helpful and has lots of good information. Great picnic areas and the park is very clean....More

Park was super beautiful with a variety of different Eco systems to observe. Trails could have been marked better and signage in general was poor. No problem parking a large vehicle.

I can't say enough about this beautiful park! This year, being the 150th Birthday of Canada, all federal parks are free as well. It's possible to take your car to the Point, which is a sand spit that extends into Lake Erie after 5:00 pm....More

I've been wanting to see this area for some time now. I'm glad I finally did. I enjoyed going to the tip, exploring various trails in the park, observing monarch butterflies... I would come back again.

Hi Carole, we were there in mid June in the afternoon and there didn't seem to be too much of a problem with biting insects - but we had gone prepared, from advice from our resident friends, with good repellent. We did... More
