We only had a few hours to kill while we were in London, and had already seen some of the other atractions, so we gave this a try. It is a fairly large building that was in the middle of some renovations, so part of the museum was not even open. The second floor was open, and worth seeing. There... More

Came to London with my family for postgrad study. It was good opportunity to have a sense of London history. Which is nicely demonstrated by Londoners photographers and artists.

The museum has over 70 years of history of the Londoners. There are beautiful paintings from 1800's to present.

But thats really not a bad thing! We have been here a few times now on field trips with my son's class... They get taken around the museum, taught about art, and then get to make a project. I have to say I have been very impressed with the staff every time. Very patient and knowledgeable. The art classes have... More

Museum London is extremely visual in its exhibitions so does appear as an art gallery. Thank being said the art from their archives was extremely interesting especially some of the London artists. Their historical display on cursive writing was also interesting. I enjoyed the display cases with London artifacts especially the "promotional" materials. The Canada 150 exhibit brought back lots... Mostly art, the TransAmerican Latin display was good, there are local London artists works but very little actual museum artifacts. Only two rooms, one with washing machines and the other with typewriters, pens, inkwells etc. A little disappointed

Great displays of various mediums in the art world. Local artists featured is a lovely setting. Kids have a play area all their own.

This place clearly has an identity crisis: Is it an art gallery or a history museum? Unfortunately, it performs neither function well. Despite having a wonderful venue within which to display art and artifacts, the curators have filled the space with temporary exhibitions that could only be of marginal interest to London visitors. As a history museum, Museum London can't... More

This is a bigger regional museum with multiple exhibits and a gift shop. There are curated contemporary shows as well as historical inventory. We went through quickly, but there are many events and activities and membership is good for other Ontario museums, as well. We enjoyed the café. Great coffee and treats. Also, the water garden outside was really lovely,... More
