This used to be Cineplex-Odeon Central Parkway Cinemas. I went there as a kid. The last movie I saw when it was still a mainstream theatre was "Twins" which should tell you how long ago that was. The theatre has gone from being a Dollar Cinema to an independent to a CineStarz. The popcorn is made in movie-quality poppers so... More

Excellent price, extremely friendly staff, clean rooms and very good movies that may not be at the biggest theatres anymore. I will definitely go back.

This is a cute little theatre. Shows older movies but for great prices. Nice way to get out and see a movie for less money.

Cine Starz on Burnhamthorpe in Mississauga shows almost new movies at half the price of other movie theatres. No previews or ads, movies start on time. The only drawback is it is downstairs, but you buy both your tickets and popcorn at the food stand. No waiting, it's never busy. Bathrooms are spotless too. Best buy in town.

This is the cutest theatre I have been 2 in a long time! It is just like going 2 the theatres when I was younger! The staff is beyond nice & helpful. Decent variety at the concession stand aa great prices as well!!! The theatres are small & old style seating but still very comfortable. The screen is small but... More

Unlike your average big chain theatre, this theatre is very quaint and not crowded. The brick walls and smaller theatres give it a more at home feel. The prices are cheaper than a regular theatre, about half off, but the movies tend to be older. Watched "The Interview" here and it was a hilarious time.

CINESTARZ is a terrific little hidden gem in the basement of a small strip mall at Burnhamthorpe and Central Parkway in East Mississauga. (HOLD ON to the railings on your way down the steep stairs!) There is wheelchair access from the underground parking garage at the back of the mall. Originating in Quebec there is word they may be opening... More

Honestly I thought this place would be gross and dirty, but I went with a work group in the daytime and I was impressed. The theatre is neat and clean and it is very cheap. I didn't have any issues with the seats. The screen and actual theatre areas are smaller than, say, Cineplex (obviously), but it is still an... More
