I dont know if the downtown area gets better in the tourist season, but it was pretty seedy in mid-March. A lot of shops were closed and the streets looked pretty dirty. The area seemed safe during the day, but I would not venture down...More

Downtown Niagara has choices of clothing, gifts, souvenirs and food stores. Many give discounts small free gifts like keychains or samples of fudge. Great window shopping

The Q is a worthwhile visit if you have seen all of the local attractions. there are some vacancies, but there are some good restaurants and stores, friendly service and fair prices. Definitely a place that is renewing....nice arches and infrastructure and flowers.
