Overview
More
Located in the heart of Niagara Falls on Clifton Hill since 1963, the always growing Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum still holds on to the reputation as Niagara’s best museum. Authentic shrunken heads, the world’s rarest egg and two-headed animals are only the beginning here. Housing an impressive collection of the odd, strange and unbelievable from around the world, the museum showcases over 700 mind boggling exhibits, oddities, curiosities and illusions throughout their extraordinarily themed galleries. Several videos and displays allow for an interactive experience leaving you to decide whether you believe it or not!Take a stroll through what is perhaps the most humorous of cemeteries, containing various gravestones engravings that will make you giggle with disbelief. Among the museum’s strange and unbelievable artifacts is the Niagara Theatre. It is the only one of its kind in Niagara Falls! Guests are invited to sit down, relax and get blown away by the museum’s film showcasing those daredevils brave enough to face the wrath of the falling water, and those who accidentally took a trip over the falls. Plenty of photo-ops are also scattered around the museum from an 18th Century Spanish Public Humiliation Stock to the world’s tallest man’s Chippendale Chair. Kids of all ages (as well as adults!) love to engage themselves in Ripley’s Wacky Explorative Room where they are challenged with various curiosities and interactive displays such as the very popular shadow wall.Spend anywhere from an hour to an entire day exploring the first class entertainment that Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum has to offer. For years, the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum has shocked and amazed tourists from all over the world as well as residents from the Niagara Region. No matter the reason for your visit to Niagara Falls, Ripley’s Believe It or Not should be a “must see” on your itinerary!

It's Niagara falls. There's a lot of money grabbing junk here. This is one of the least dated sites near the falls and suitable for young audiences and silly people like me! Shrunken heads are the highlight. Yes get the combo pass even though the...More

My husband wanted to go to Ripleys to see the oddities. The ads talk about the vast number of exhibits to view there but found many of them to be disappointing. We really did enjoy the shrunken heads and the video talking about how they...More

We got the combo pass for Tussauds wax museum, the 4D movie ride and Ripley’s. All three were fantastic! Ripley’s was worth the price alone. Very entertaining, informative and interactive! I got a great video of my kids “tite roping “ across the Niagara Falls....More

We took a combo deal with Ripley’s 4 d movies. Good fun, especially the last part. Good choice in activities. We had a group with us from 1-60 years and it had a little bit for everyone. We would come back again.

Took the kids (10 annd 6) to the museum. It was great, the kids would have gone through a second time if we could. Lots of interactive exhibits. Good value compared to other attractions nearby. We spent over an hour here.

On a rainy afternoon, we thought this might be fun, but it was actually pretty dull. I didn't have high expectations, but the Ripley's book is entertaining and I expected something similar. Unfortunately, this was all pretty tacky!

What a fun place to visit! My family, (2 adults, 2 teenage girls), had a blast! There were many fun attractions, and hands on exhibits. It was worth the cost of admission!

We took our pre-teen and teenager, and were pleasantly surprised that the teenager did not get bored and that most exhibits held the interests of both kids together. Of special interest are the micro sculptures in the eyes of needles and the shrunken heads exhibits....More

Lots of places to sit and enjoy your food. Also the parks encourages people to spread a sheet on the grass and sit.

It should take around 1-2 hours to see everything. However, that really depends on how busy it is and how many exhibits you stop to read.
