I saw all 10 plays this past season, and continue to love the Shaw experience. Master Harold, Black Girl and A Woman of No Importance were the highlights for me, though I have to say that, in the 12 years I have been attending, I have not seen one play I didn't enjoy. Acting, lighting. sets, venues, Shaw staff, Niagara-on-the-Lake........ More

The Shaw Festival provides a wonderful theatrical experience. We saw Alice in Wonderland and loved the production. The costumes were amazing! We enjoyed the combination of speaking and singing. We got a great deal on the tickets through Travelzoo.

My husband and I and another couple saw Sweeney Todd. We were absolutely shocked at the highly quality of the performance. We've been to Broadway many times, and it was hard to tell the difference between the two. And it's very easy to get to. In fact we walked from our B & B, Davy House, only a couple blocks... More

I have been wanting to attend the Shaw Festival for many years and finally had an opportunity last week. We saw "Engaged" and it was extremely well done. Acting was great. Also stayed at the Shaw Club overnight and had dinner there and it was outstanding. Felt like a very special guest! And they even had transportation to the theater!

We watched the last performance of the season and the performance was great. The show selection was limited to just 1. It would be nice if they would run longer. The seats were vertical good. We really enjoy the old theater feel.

We attended an end of season performance here recently. It was a pleasant little theatre but did not have a great many features for the visitor. It was nice to have visited but the theatre has no real attraction for us as keen theatre buffs.

First let me say I love the Shaw Festival and rarely miss a year. Even plays I have little interest in are often transformed here into experiences I love. For instance last year Peter and the Starcatcher - wow! That said, the three productions we saw this year were underwhelming overall. "Our Town" was a well done production of a... More

My wife and I did a recce on this place prior to our booked performance and found that despite having it's own considerable carpart we would have to pay CAD$ 15 (approx £9) for the duration of the performance, about 2 hours. There were only two disabled bays and you had to pay for those too. The play 'A Woman... More
