Pillitteri Estates Winery proudly continues a family tradition of viticulture and winemaking excellence. For Gary Pillitteri, the opening of Pillitteri Estates Winery in June of 1993 was the culmination of a lifetime dream. Today the Pillitteri family continues his dream and tradition of quality, having received over 600 wine awards from around the world. The family’s winemaking philosophy is quite simple: “To produce the finest wines possible from the highest quality Niagara Peninsula grapes.” The strategy, however, is much more complex. Each vineyard and wine is treated individually since each has its own ‘personality’ that must be expressed. “Our goal is to produce consistent, quality wine for our consumers: rich, full-bodied reds; fragrant and lively whites; and luscious Icewines, all in a variety of styles to suit every palate.”

This was our first tour in the region and it was great. We had a really informative guy who made it so interesting and fun. Loads of awards and probably my favourite for the ice wine. Loved the history behind this one. A must do.

A very nice winery to visit. Great Ice wine - tour host was very good (spoke a little too fast) but we managed. Many awards displayed for their wine. Cellar is very nice - love the stone table.

Let's be honest, who doesn't think Niagara Falls is one of the top 5 most romantic places to be with your beloved one, so why not taking that special person for some wine, actually ice wine. I really enjoyed this trip with my girl and...More

We stopped at this lovely winery for one of their scheduled tours. The tour isn't very long, but the young tour guide did an excellent job, giving us some background history of the winery and the wines it produces. After the tour we were offered...More

This was the second time visiting this winery, which was out of our control, as it was part of a tour. The actual tour is quite enjoyable, and informative. They have an interesting family history. Our guide was excellent and the tasting was good, although...More
