Colaneri is a new family-owned and operated winery that hand-harvests the finest grapes to produce premium VQA award-winning wines from its surrounding vineyards. Most of the wines are made with the traditional Italian appassimento style of drying grapes, including a large portfolio of red, white and dessert wines. A new series has been introduced, made in the “recioto” style of making dessert wines. The winery is built in the Romanesque style featuring a captivating panoramic view of the vineyard and escarpment atop the St. David’s Bench appellation. The wine tasting bar overlooks the production area, allowing visitors to see the process. We, La famiglia Colaneri, are always on hand to share the experience and the passion that went into the making of our wines and our winery.

I was at Colaneri for my 28th birthday for a wine tasting and I had a fabulous experience. Wally served my mom and I and he was very knowledgeable and hospitable. Colaneri produces wonderful wines in both red and white. The prices are on par for the quality of the wine. We left with a couple of bottles. Definitely worth... More

My fiance and I have gone to Colaneri twice now. They specialize in making wine in the Italian fashion. Each time we've received amazing service when we did wine tasting. The staff was really knowledgeable and very friendly. You get 5 samples for $10, but it's waived if you purchase a bottle of wine. And the wine is amazing!! The... More

After visiting here and seeing the word "amazing" in just about every review, I thought a review was in order. When you arrive at Colaneri the exterior looks like a slightly unfinished version of what you would imagine the Italy Pavilion to look like at Epcot. This concerned me because the place looks out of place and a lot like... More

The wine is incredible, every single wine we tasted was amazing. We had been there before but it is probably our favourite winery in Niagara region. That pinot grigio is my go to for sure. The architecture and location is great, and reminds me of Italy. The customer service too was amazing, we had Wally as our server for testing... More

I was on a little weekend getaway with my boyfriend and some of his coworkers. We got 2 free wine tours with our hotel reservations to Inniskillen and Jackson Triggs. One of the couples that we were with insisted that we go to this one winery once we were done as it is one of the best in their opinion.... More

This place has soooo many wines to try. The lady doing tastings was really helpful and gave a good history of the vineyard. worth a trip.

We randomly visited the winery a year ago and enjoyed a tasting in the tasting room. It was such a positive experience (they take their time and talk to you about their wines, which we love!) that we decided to book a private tasting for our anniversary (make sure to book a week in advance). The table was beautifully set... More

Besides the amazing Italian architecture and grounds the staff is truly amazing! We have been coming to Colaneri since they opened and this family run business has always been friendly, charming and full of culture. The wines are incredible and true to the Italian heritage! You need to try their wood over pizza in the summer and experience cigar under... More

When you are driving up the driveway to this monstrosity of a winery, it's very overwhelming. Looks like the White House or something. Absolutely gorgeous outside! Inside is not finished so I will not comment much on that. They did have a nice selection of wines and a good tasting. I believe we had 3 wine tastings each. Very beautiful... More

Despite the amazing Tuscan looking villa, we had the unfortunate experience of being literally badgered by a staff member as we were walking from the parking lot toward the villa. My mother, a 79 year old lady, had the audacity to grab a small cluster of 5-7 grapes from the closest vine and was handing out to her lady friend... More
