Nice place

I think it is a nice touristic attraction, with its churches, and small stores like the french patisserie and some other small antique shops. Also a couple of great coffee shops.

I lived in Lower Town for three years. It's lovely. Very residential, family neighborhood. It's got a nice community centre, some gorgeous parks, and it's close to lots of good stuff. The Byward, Gatineau, the Rideau River (which is not the canal, you cannot skate on the river), and a few other subhurb-esque features. I love the place, but if... More

I lived in Lowertown for the better part of two years - and while it was a phenomenal place to live, there simply isn't much to do in terms of visiting. There are parks and whatnot, but the community would have to really be invested in if it were to become ideal for tourism like the Byward Market is. If... More
