Walk around the locks and yard, pop into the Bytown Museum, walk down to the river. Very lovely spot to get away from the buses. Really enjoyed it.

I always see people lined up and taking shots of the sunset . It's a beautiful place to exercise however right now it's closed , unsure why but it will remain closed until July 2

My parents and I walked along the canal. We were able to park around third street (some 1-2hr parking in the area) and enjoyed a lovely few hours getting some exercise and seeing the sights.

No. It is open to the public. the ice skate rink only during winter time.
I am planning to take my daughter this weekend for the winterlude. Any advice for parking please. Is there any public one close to the canal for skating?
