The ice conditions on the oval were fantastic for the Ontario Speed Skating Provincial Championships. If you are a skater, this is a great place to stop for a few laps.

It's grassy... has lots of fields and playsets for children of all ages. Doesn't get creepy at night either, so it's safe for all age groups. There's also a tennis club/volleyball club nearby.

Brewer Park is the largest and by far the best family park in the Ottawa region. While parking is at a minimum, the park is easily reached by public transit. It is very large with lots of grassy areas, mature trees, several playground areas with climbers and activities rated by age, and two large splash pads joined by a slide.... More

It is a great place to play for both young and old, but mostly for the young with many play structures, swings and almost everything that can be imagined.

I took my children to this park which is just 2 minutes walk from were i reside , this park facilitates all kinds of playground activities for children which is fascinating and joyous for them . Even the water fountains and water features are great as well. Best place for kids to exercise and take out their energy .

We lived just up the street from the park for a couple years and used it with our young child regularly. The playground area is extensive has has great variety for toddlers as well as older children. Large water fountains in which the kids can play on hot days. Nice swings having a lovely view across the fields toward Carleton... More

I've visited Brewer Park with my son. There are tons of play structures, swings, and a splash pad. There's lots of trees for shade in the summer, trails for biking and walking, and large soccer fields. Great place to keep kids entertained, but there's not much parking, and the lot is far from the play structures.

Lots of places for Moms and Dads to take young kids. Good play structures, plenty of space to run and jump. And with wild spaces near the river, a good spot for a simple nature walk.
