A visit to ottawa is not complete without watching the changing of the guard. this place will bring a tear to the eye due to its history.

I visited the National War Memorial on Remembrance Day and it is such a place of deep respect and honour, a place to say thanks to the soldiers serving in our Armed Forces, and to honour those who fought for our country!

A very impressive memorial to the Canadian fallen. If you have time, try to see it at night as well as the floodlighting really highlights the details of the statues :)

Love this memorial, the perfect tribute to our brave men and women. Great details were taken to have this memorial stand out from the rest of parliament. A Must see for every Canadian

I attend the November 11 memorial service held here every year and it is just as moving each time. Be sure to pay your respects at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and also look up to the statue above. Then walk around to see...More
