Perfect educational tour for kids and adults. Museum had wonderful variety. And the displays really took you deep, into the habitat of the animals. Kids were rewarded for their treasure hunt activity. And the ushers @nd tour guides really make the kids work for and discover the clues and answers for each question by themselves. I saw the pride and satisfying my children’s eyes as they turned in their work for their award. I learned so much myself. The gift shop had very attractive and engaging items and reasonable prices.

Great museum. Nice place to visit. Great variety of mammals, insects and rocks. Friendly owners, owner might be a little bit to friendly as he talks the ears off the kids who visit.

Great spot to walk. Enjoy the wonders of nature. Both in winter and summer. Summer means being able to swim in Lake Huron

Took our nephews here (age 9 & 11) and had a wonderful time. The owners are highly knowledgeable in all of their artifacts. Happy to show you around and talk about different pieces, where they came from etc. The owner is also very comedic and adds a fun twist to the education. The extensive collection they have here is mind blowing. All manner of fossils, crystals, precious stones, animals, insects, arachnids both extinct and present. Our nephews of course loved the dinosaur bones and so did we! Takes about 2-3 hours to walk around depending on how thoroughly you look at everything. The gift shop is great too, large collection of items at excellent prices. I highly recommend this museum, I'd say it is a must see!

My 2 year old son and I walked through for the very first time. I was blown away at the displays and artifacts. There is so much to see and learn during your tour. Jim the owner was very friendly and helpful. He told us about their family pass which is good for a year and the price is unbeatable! We will definitely be back along with my husband!

I took my grandsons here. Ages 7 and 8. They had been there a few times before and were exited to go back. The kind gentleman was great to show the boys some extra special things and to do a magic trick for them too. He had so much patience and time for them. I was sorry that I was distracted and did not have more time to talk with him. Very knowledgeable. His wife Allison was also very kind to us in the gift shop. Great job and very nice collection. Amazing place.
